The Team
William Fry’s top tier Banking and Finance department advises on all types of domestic and cross border financing transactions in the public and private lending markets. Our clients include Irish and international commercial banks, investment banks, direct lenders, corporates, sponsors, institutional and family offices, investment funds and semi-states. Our approach is partner-led and client-focused with an emphasis on actively driving and managing transactions while providing pragmatic, tailored solutions for our clients. This is supported by a deep industry knowledge and commercial awareness with extensive experience built up as a long standing leading advisor in the Irish legal market.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for
- Producing and amending high quality documentation from digital dictation and hand-written drafts following the William Fry House Style
- Taking ownership of monthly, quarterly & yearly Billing requirements for your Partners and Fee Earners
- Monitoring and managing your Partners and Fee Earner emails, calendars, and contacts
- Accurately managing all filing, including e filing
- Diary /Travel management
- General administration including printing, posting, photocopying & scanning
- Entering and reporting on Business Development data in our Interaction CRM system
- Compiling Business Development documentation for new client meetings (e.g., research, client bios and company information)
The Person
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legal PA/Secretary supporting senior staff
- You have advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
- You have experience working with Document Management and Billing Systems
- You have experience working with Digital Dictation systems
- You have an ability to re-prioritise tasks when required
- You have a flexible approach to your work
- You can effectively prioritise tasks in order of importance
- You have the ability to use initiative / skills to bring about a solution to a problem/issue.
- You have the ability to always act in a discreet/confidential manner
- You have the willingness to take ownership of the requirements of the role
- You can demonstrate a team focus and willingness and flexibility to assist others when required *
- You are eager to learn/develop skills and knowledge to continually improve
